Our tours run out of Al Badayer Dunes, reached via Hatta Road just outside the city. It's a quieter stretch of desert than the busier Big Red trails, which means more open sand and fewer other vehicles around you.

Drivers must be at least 16 years old. Younger children can still join as passengers on a family buggy when accompanied by an adult.

Rates start from AED 350 for a 30-minute Polaris couple ride and go up to around AED 1,000+ for a full-power 60-minute Can-Am session, depending on the machine, seating and duration you choose. See the full pricing table above for exact figures.

No driving licence is required. Every self-drive guest gets a safety briefing and hands-on instructions before heading onto the dunes, so first-timers are welcome.

If you enjoy off-road driving and desert scenery, yes — a buggy gives you far more control and speed over the dunes than a standard 4x4 dune-bashing tour, plus you're the one behind the wheel.

A dune buggy is a lightweight, open-frame off-road vehicle built to handle loose sand and steep dunes. Our fleet includes Polaris and Can-Am models in 2-seater and 4-seater configurations.

Comfortable, casual sportswear works best. We recommend long sleeves and pants to protect your skin from sand and sun, along with closed-toe shoes rather than sandals or heels.

Children can ride along in a 4-seater family buggy when accompanied by a parent or guardian. Independent driving is limited to guests aged 16 and above.

Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your tour for a full refund. If you cancel or don't show up within 24 hours of your slot, the full charge applies.

Every package includes the buggy ride itself, helmet and goggles, a guided safety briefing, and a free camel ride at the end. Combo packages also add dune bashing, BBQ dinner and entertainment.

Early morning and late afternoon slots offer the coolest temperatures and the best light for photos, especially in summer. We also run night tours for a completely different desert atmosphere.

Pickup isn't bundled into the base buggy prices — it's an optional add-on for AED 350 from Dubai hotels. Combo safari packages already include pickup and drop-off.

We accept cash in AED, credit and debit cards, online bank transfer, and you can also secure your slot by booking directly through WhatsApp.

No — for safety reasons, pregnant women are not permitted to ride, whether as driver or passenger.
